Filipino Holiday Traditions Through Food, Dance, and Crafts

Asian Girls Ignite’s Filipino Holiday Social 2025 was a multigenerational celebration of cultural wellness, youth storytelling, and identity-affirming spaces for AANHPI youth in Colorado. Through food, dance, and shared traditions, families experienced how cultural programming builds belonging, resilience, and long-term community impact.

How Asian Girls Ignite Students Became Storytellers During Our 2025 Summer Program

Last month, our students put connection and community into practice. Every day of our RepresentAsian Matters 2025: I Am Powerful summer program took place in the beautiful Denver Botanic Gardens. A perfect backdrop for a week centered around identity and collective care. On Connection & Community Day, we were joined by two incredible storytellers: Tran Nguyen-Wills and Abi Clark. They both led a youth-powered workshop exploring the art of interviewing and the magic of deep listening.
