🍱 Taste, create, celebrate AANHPI heritage month

Food is at the heart of our cultures, and now, it’s time to get your hands in it (literally!).

This AANHPI Heritage Month, join Asian Girls Ignite, Rocky Mountain Momo, Taeko-san Takeout, and Tea Street for a hands-on culinary exploration! We aren’t just eating; we’re building, tasting, and learning the stories behind the flavors we love.

Whether it’s a dish you grew up with or something you’ve been dying to try, come hungry for knowledge (and food).

What to expect

This is a hands-on culinary mini workshop! Students rotate through stations led by Denver AANHPI caterers to master the art of the fold, the wrap, and the shake:

  • 🥟 The Momo Masterclass: Join Rabee Sharma (she/her) of Rocky Mountain Momo to learn the delicate art of folding Nepalese momos.

  • 🍙 The Onigiri Lab: Get hands-on with Maddie Dunhoff (she/her) of Taeko-san Takeout to craft the perfect Japanese rice ball.

  • 🧋 The Boba Bar: Shake things up with Victoria Lam (she/her) of Tea Street and craft a boba drink.

At the end, we’ll all sit down together to enjoy our creations and celebrate the community we’re building!

You belong here 💜

We’re reclaiming the "lunchbox moment." 🥡 We’ve built a space where you don’t have to leave parts of yourself at the door. You belong here, and so does the food that fuels our community.

A special thanks to our sponsors at I Matter, whose generous contribution helps us keep these identity-affirming spaces growing for our community.
