who we are
Asian Girls Ignite is on a mission to build a strong community of Asian American & Pacific Islander (AAPI) girls and women to celebrate our individual and collective power through shared stories.
Who We Serve
Asian Girls Ignite welcomes all Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) girls and gender-expansive youth in middle and high school (grades 6-12). We currently only serve in Colorado.

WHAT WE DO
Asian Girls Ignite offers educational programs that are centered around storytelling, based on social-emotional learning, inspired by AAPI culture and history, and mostly co-designed by AAPI girls. It’s through shared stories that we elevate our voices, explore our identities, and care for our wellbeing.
Middle School
Monthly events open to all middle school students (grades 6th - 8th). Introduces fundamental concepts like self-management, self-awareness, and social awareness.
High School
Monthly cohort-based program of 15 high school girls (grades 9th - 12th). Focuses on developing a stronger sense of self identity within their community and society.
summers
A week-long summer program, open to both middle school and high school students. Centers positive representation and belonging are throughout the week.
Outdoors
A year-long program for middle and high school students to create equity in access to the outdoors. Past partnerships include YMCA of the Rockies and The North Face.

AAPI women and girls, dive into the world of bouldering with Outdoor Ascenders by Asian Girls Ignite! 🧗♀️ No matter your skill level – seasoned climber or absolute beginner – our series explore the excitement of bouldering, face your fears, and learn a new skill! Entry, premium gear, and delicious snacks will be provided for a fully immersive and enjoyable experience.
