An evening of gratitude and connection

📅 Date: Wednesday, November 19
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 PM
📍 Yuan Wonton (2878 Fairfax St, Denver, CO 80207)
🥂 Drinks, appetizers, and conversation

Each year, Asian Girls Ignite gathers the community that makes our mission possible — the donors, partners, and funders who help AANHPI girls and gender-expansive youth thrive. This fall marks our third annual AppreciAsian Affair, hosted at Yuan Wonton, one of Denver’s most celebrated restaurants and a place deeply connected to our story.

We’re honored to spotlight Chef Penelope Wong, owner of Yuan Wonton and a longtime supporter of AGI. From serving as a storyteller and fundraiser to nourishing our students and families at countless gatherings, Penelope has been a constant source of generosity and care.

Her culinary journey — from food truck to James Beard semifinalist and New York Times recognition — mirrors the resilience and creativity we see in the youth AGI serves.

Join us for an intimate evening of appreciation and inspiration. Hear Penelope’s reflections, connect with fellow supporters, and listen to student panelists share how AGI has shaped their confidence, identity, and leadership.

We’re excited to take a moment to truly thank key partners like you, whose continued belief in our mission fuels the next generation of AANHPI leaders. Please RSVP now to join us for this special evening!
