Jennifer (Jenny) is a life-long learner and lover of live music!

Jenny grew up in Denver before moving to Los Angeles to attend the University of Southern California (USC). After graduating with a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Cultural Studies, she also earned an M.A. in Occupational Therapy (OT).

Upon moving back to Denver in 2020, she realized she was longing for AANHPI community. After some doom scrolling, she found Asian Girls Ignite and reached out in hopes of forming meaningful connections! Jenny found the meaningful community she was looking for in AGI's staff, students, and community. Now, as Student Community Coordinator, she works with our Youth Leadership Collective (YLC) to collaborate on AGI programs and events.

Jenny's favorite way to celebrate her Korean heritage is to make mediocre renditions of her mom's recipes and text photos of her attempts to her umma. She embraces her Korean identity and celebrates it unapologetically every day.
