RepresentAsian 2024: Nourishing Hearts, Bodies, and Minds

Welcome to a week dedicated to wellness! Asian Girls Ignite's 2024 Summer Program, RepresentAsian: Nourishing Hearts, Bodies, and Minds, is designed to explore all the ways the AAPI community is rooted in wellness.

Spots are limited to 12 middle school students and 12 high school students. Secure your spot — register today!

Program

RepresentAsian: Nourishing Hearts, Bodies, and Minds will be a new experience for all students!

Covering topics from culinary arts to mindfulness practices, physical activities, and beyond, students will deeply connect with AAPI women storytellers involved in fields that contribute to the well-being of our hearts, bodies, and minds. Details will be coming soon.

Monday, July 8th - Saturday, July 13th, 2024

Times:
- Monday to Thursday | 9am - 4pm
- Friday to Saturday | Overnight Camping Trip

A full schedule will be provided as we get closer to the start date.

Fees

We will be using a Sliding Scale Payment System that strives to increase student access by supporting everyone who wants to engage with our programs. Instead of collecting income information or requesting applications for scholarships, we are trusting program participants to select the option that works best for you. Please choose the level that best aligns with your financial situation.

• Scale 1 - $700: For those that are able to cover the program’s full cost (e.g. programming, venue, facilitator/storyteller fees, materials, etc).

• Scale 2 - $500: For those that are only able to provide the costs of programming and venue.

• Scale 3 - $300: For those that would love to join the program but have financial barriers. Additional financial aid is available — please reach out to Shené Randall, AGI’s Program Director, at shene@asiangirlsignite for more information.
